Our Classroom Policies
To ensure we can make the most of our time together, there are several classroom policies and procedures you should discuss with your student. While we have talked about all of these in class, reminders are appreciated. Students should know what is expected of them throughout the day in each area in the building that they visit. Positive behavior is reinforced using the district wide PBIS system.
When Entering STEAM
Students have an assigned seat. Current seating ensures we can properly social distance and contact trace if needed.
Using the Restroom
Our class time is short. While I understand emergencies arise, students are discouraged from using the washroom if possible (our 30 minutes goes FAST). If this system is abused, you will lose the privilege of going to the lavatory freely.
Homework
All projects will be completed in class this year. While there may be some little things to complete at home, majority of the work will be done during our time together.
